Mama June Shannon might be a size 4 right now, but it looks like she might have risked her life for her new body. ‘Mama June: From Not to Hot’ spoilers indicate that Mama June’s gastric bypass surgery almost went terribly wrong in a new teaser trailer for the show.
‘Mama June: From Not to Hot’ is documenting the reality television star’s massive weight loss transformation. She managed to slim down from 460 pounds to a size 4, thanks to her gastric sleeve surgery. But according to a new spoiler clip, things almost go horribly wrong for Mama June during her procedure.
During the clip, Mama June’s surgeon explained his procedure while placing a tube from the beginning to the end of her stomach. That’s when Mama June started to bleed. The clip also shows Mama June having a lot of trouble recovering after her surgery. At one point, she even had a hard time getting out of bed because of her stomach cramps.
Mama June even said in the teaser clip, “This surgery is honestly probably the scariest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I mean, I could die from it. I’m not one to let go of control easily and I have no control over this situation once they put me to sleep.”
Viewers are simply going to have to tune in to see what happens next. The documentary also follows Mama June’s new life as a single mother wanting to get back into the dating scene. Plus, her daughter Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson says that while Mama June loves her new body, she’s still struggling with her lack of self-confidence. She said on the show that Mama June still sees herself as a heavier person even though she’s now more than half her size.
