Is Nina Dobrev ashamed of her romance with Glen Powell? That’s what a lot of her fans can’t help but wonder as the Hollywood actress refuses to confirm their relationship even though they’ve been spotted together on numerous occasions.
Many of Nina’s fans have noticed that the former ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star has been very, very quiet about her personal life these last few months. Even though she made headlines for supposedly hooking up with Orlando Bloom, nothing serious came out of it. Instead, she’s been too busy filming her projects, working on her fashion campaigns with DKNY and Reebok, and of course, partying with her Hollywood gal pals.
But if there’s one person who has consistently been in Nina’s life, it’s her friend Glen Powell. He accompanied her on the red carpet for the premier of her movie, ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.’ He was also front and center at her ‘La La Land’-themed birthday party this year. And now new reports indicate that he was Nina Dobrev’s date at Julianne Hough’s star-studded wedding over the weekend. At this point it’s safe to say that Nina and Glen are more than just friends.
Yet Nina refuses to come clean about their relationship. There’s a strong possibility that she might be ashamed of their romance. After all, Glen doesn’t have A-list recognition the same way Orlando Bloom has. And he certainly doesn’t have the same kind of fan base Nina’s ex Ian Somerhalder has, too.
Yet, Nina’s fans know that the truth about her and Glen will come out sooner rather than later. One guest at Julianne Hough’s wedding even shared an Instagram of Nina and Glen playfully biting and kissing one another inside a photo booth during the reception. Clearly, the couple has a lot of chemistry together.
But for some reason Nina just doesn’t want to talk about it in public. She doesn’t want them to become another celebrity couple and she definitely doesn’t want people to talk about them, either. That’s why she’s worked so hard to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. But it’s obvious that the two do have feelings for one another.
