Prince Harry Takes Meghan Markle To Friend’s Wedding In Jamaica: Tropical Marriage Proposal?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, 32, met in Jamaica Thursday, March 2 to begin the three day party to celebrate the wedding of Harry’s close friend Tom ‘Skippy’ Inskip. Skippy is marrying Lara Hughes-Young. Skippy and Harry went to school together at Eton and he was with Harry during his now infamous Las Vegas trip that ended with published pictures of Prince Harry playing billiards naked.

Harry, 32, flew from Gatwick, England to Montego Bay on Wednesday while Meghan made the flight from New York. This trip will give Prince Harry the chance to introduce Meghan to more of his friends and adds fuel to the fire regarding the seriousness of their relationship.

It has been reported that Meghan was been living with the Prince in his cottage at Kensington Place since the first of the year. Royal watchers think that Prince Harry may be preparing to propose to Meghan sooner rather than later. Adding to the speculation as previously reported by CDL, Meghan has asked to be written out of the legal drama Suits.

The festivities will be held at the Round Hill Hotel and Villas. The property is a private 110-acre plantation style resort which was first built as cottages for the rich and famous to get away from it all in the 1950s. Usain Bolt is reported to be one of the guests attending the wedding.

This trip is one of the first times the couple has openly appeared together in public and many hope it means that Prince Harry had finally found his match. While he has had girlfriends in the past, he has not seemed to care as deeply as he does for Meghan. Because Meghan has been married and divorced before, the couple would need special permission from the Queen to marry.

While such an arrangement would have been controversial 50 years ago, the Queen gave permission for Prince Charles and Camilla to marry in a civil ceremony in 2005. Prince Harry is currently fifth in line for the throne.
