It seems as though some people just can’t get over Camilla Parker Bowles’ wild past. In fact, reports indicate that one of the reasons why Queen Elizabeth still has a hard time accepting Camilla is because she was always known as a wild party girl in her prime. So does this mean that Camilla is not fit to be queen? That’s what some fans can’t help but wonder.
Camilla Parker Bowles has made plenty of headlines throughout the years. Royal fans still can’t forgive her for being the other woman in Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage. And then there were the reports that said Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles had a secret love child in Australia. Some even say that Camilla knew exactly what she was doing when she worked her way up from mistress to future possible queen.
Insiders close to Camilla even said that she was always a confident woman who knew how to flirt with men. Friends even say that Camilla was always a party girl with a wild, fun-loving steak. She even lost her job at a design firm when she arrived to work drunk.
But what bothers Queen Elizabeth the most is that people just can’t stop talking about Camilla’s past. Camilla was even once obsessed with her great-grandmother Alice Keppel who some say was Edward VII’s secret lover. Camilla’s first words when she met Charles were, “My great-grandmother was the mistress of your great-great-grandfather — so how about it?” Of course, no one knows if that’s really true or not.
And even though Charles and Camilla have been married for well over a decade, she’s still struggling to garner any sympathy from the public. She just can’t catch a break no matter what she does. In fact, some believe that Queen Elizabeth would rather see Prince William and Kate Middleton take the throne before Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. But that’s clearly not going to happen. Charles will be the next King of England with Camilla by his side, whether people like it or not.
