Sarah Ferguson Embarrasses Princess Beatrice in Front of Queen Elizabeth

Sarah Ferguson has once again managed to embarrass Princess Beatrice in front of Queen Elizabeth. Sarah was spotted waving ecstatically, if not awkwardly at the queen at Ascot on Friday, June 23.

Eyewitnesses say that Sarah Ferguson, who was married to Prince Andrew until their divorce in 1996, looked just a little too excited to see Her Majesty as she passed by her in a horse-drawn carriage. Sarah wore a monochrome dress to the event while Beatrice was dressed in a gold woven coat by designer Claire Mischevani.

At one point, it almost looked like Sarah wanted to curtsy in front of her former mother-in-law Queen Elizabeth. Sarah waved to the Queen with so much force that it looked like she couldn’t hold herself together. Beatrice looked rather embarrassed by her mother’s behavior, as she clearly didn’t expect her to act that way in front of her grandmother.

Of course, Sarah Ferguson has made it no secret that she still gets the jitters whenever Queen Elizabeth is around. There’s a very strong possibility that Sarah was simply nervous and that’s why she acted so strangely in front of the queen. Back in 2016, she even admitted that Queen Elizabeth is the one member of the British royal family that she simply doesn’t feel comfortable around. She told Sydney’s KIIS FM in an interview, “I always get really nervous before meeting the boss,” before adding that she still thinks the Queen is “brilliant.”

Sarah might have a good reason to still be nervous. During her marriage to Prince Andrew, she was linked to a number of other men, including Texan millionaire Steve Wyatt. A few months before she announced her separation from Prince Andrew, she was also photographed sunbathing topless with American financial manager John Bryan.

There’s also the fact that she was filmed by a British tabloid offering access to the Duke of York for half a million pounds, which ultimately cost her an invitation to Prince William and Kate Middleton’ 2011 royal wedding.

Of course, no one really knows what Queen Elizabeth really thinks of Sarah Ferguson and what she has to say about her behind closed doors. But given all that she’s done and said in the past, it’s not surprising that the Queen likes to keep her distance from her former daughter-in-law.
