It’s Election Night again. Frankie is on the podium in Philadelphia giving his winning speech. Abby watches in shock as Frankie is shot. The secret service hold her up as they escort her to safety. She is put in a car with Fitz. She clutches her cell phone while Fitz snaps her out of it. They get to the white house. She locks herself in an office, telling one staffer to leave her alone. She gets a call. “You shot him,” she says to the person on the phone. “This is not happening. Listen to me,” she commands. She explains that she can’t leave. She ends the call. Throws something at the door. It smashes. She cries.

Its 60 days before the election. Fitz tells Abby he wants Santa Barbara. He wants the new aid gone. She brought him a muffin. She wasn’t wearing a bra. Abby has to go to a donor luncheon for him. Fitz wants to go to Vermont. Abby tells him he has more to do, to accomplish.

At the lunch, Abby thanks 2 donors for their time. They make a big contribution of $300 million before telling Abby they want to be part of her team. They think she has to be sick and tired of serving Fitz. She should go on her own. She is working in the shadows. They see her abilities. She is the future. They want to hear her ideas, her vision, and her point of view. Abby wants to know what strings are attached to the offer. They want her to run for president. She isn’t interested.

Abby gets dressed while her husband talks. He is annoyed that the conversation is one-sided. She wants to know where the bottle of bourbon is. She brings it to Cyrus. He wants to know what she needs. Abby needs information and advice. Cyrus wants to know if she has told Fitz yet. She hasn’t. He has no idea. Cyrus thinks she would make a great candidate.

Back at the office, Abby looks at a picture. Fitz comes in. He has found a site for his library, in Rutland, Vermont. That is where he wants Abby to run his foundation. She isn’t saying anything. She tells him no. He wants to be human. He can’t be, he is the president, she tells him. Stop being a child and grow up, she yells. Fitz tells her that he has given everything to this country. If he wants to take time away, he will. It doesn’t matter what she says, the library will be in Rutland. Mad, Abby calls the donors to tell them she is in.

It’s election night. Abby talks to Mellie, who is excited about her success. She asks to have the TV turned up. It is announced that Frankie Vargas is the new president. Millie looks shocked. Abby takes a call from the female donor. It’s the same woman who blackmailed Rowan. She tells Abby that she will call in a few minutes to give her instructions. Frankie is shot on live TV. The woman calls again. She tells Abby that they wired her the $300 million from a Korean bank. They can call it in to the treasury unless she shuts the hospital down.

Fitz and the rest of the team are reviewing who could be behind the shooting. Abby steps in and then steps out when Fitz tells her to head to the hospital. She watches Frankie through the window. A nurse delivers a package to her from “their friends.” She wants Abby to plant evidence. She shows her a video of someone beating Leo.

Abby talks to the nurse. The bullets are in Vargas and she needs them. It’s up to Fitz to declare him dead and he isn’t budging. Abby blackmails a major to get her way. She stands outside the room while an autopsy is performed on Vargas. Agent Spalding arrives to stop him. Fitz hasn’t declared him dead yet. They leave the room. Abby steals the bullets, retrieves one from the body and replaces them with the ones given to her by the nurse. She brings them to the nurse who tells her she will have her boyfriend back in a couple of hours. She throws up in a laundry hamper in the hospital hallway.

Abby returns home. She cries at her dining room table. Leo calls her name. He is on the floor in the living room. He says that he blacked out and was robbed. The cops found him in an alley and brought him home. They don’t have any leads. She tells him she is sorry. “It wasn’t your fault,” he replies. She gets a call. It’s Fitz.

Olivia tells Abby that Cyrus is the killer. Night comes, she can’t sleep. She goes for a run while news reports and conversations of Cyrus’ being framed runs through her head. She shows up at David’s house the next day. Outside of his house, the woman who blackmailed her arrives. She threatens her. David comes out. He is happy that Abby has finally meant Samantha – her blackmailer, his girlfriend!

Abby goes to the office. She looks scared and sad. Huck is there. He wants to trade favors. He needs to visit someone in jail. He tells her that Jennifer is still alive. Abby goes to visit Cyrus in prison. She tells him she is going to war for him. She visits her blackmailers. She wants to make a deal. She has information but they need to get Cyrus out of jail. She tells them about Jennifer.

THE END!
