The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates for the week of January 9 tease that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will test Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) willpower. He’s been plotting her downfall, but the moment of truth is almost here. Ridge is about to find out if Quinn can truly resist temptation.
B&B spoilers say Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will unknowingly make Ridge’s job easier. She’ll take herself out of the picture for a while by planning a trip to Italy. Of course, Brooke will face some temptation of her own. Bill (Don Diamont) will want to come along on this getaway.
As for Ridge, he’ll get riled up about Quinn’s manipulation. He doesn’t like the pressure Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) under any more than Liam (Scott Clifton) does. Both Ridge and Liam feel like Quinn is toxic to the people they love.
Ridge will argue that Quinn is playing everyone. Liam will agree and suggest that the clock is ticking. B&B’s weekly promo shows Liam declaring, “Now’s the time. We’ve got to expose Quinn. Do it now.” Ridge will move forward with one last move to bring Quinn down.
Elsewhere, Quinn will mull over her complicated feelings. It’s clear that there’s a thin line between love and hate. Quinn can’t stand Ridge, but she’s drawn to him anyway. She hates herself for even giving him a second glance.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers state that Eric (John McCook) will somehow give Ridge a shot at offering proof. Perhaps Ridge will find out when Eric is leaving and returning. He needs a timetable to make sure Quinn’s betrayal is revealed.
Whatever the case, Ridge will indeed have Quinn all to himself for a while. He’ll contend that Quinn will be pulled toward him like a moth to a flame. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn will be taken aback by the shift in Ridge’s approach.
There are two ways this could go. Ridge might realize he can catch more flies with honey. He could suddenly be quite sweet and indicate that there’s a real connection between them.
Then again, Ridge could appeal to Quinn’s dark side. He could encourage Quinn to cave in and enjoy this sinful passion. No matter what route Ridge takes, the subtle touches will continue. He’ll grab Quinn’s hand and she’ll look like a deer in headlights.
