The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for new episodes the week of Monday, January 16 through Friday, January 20 reveal a shocking turn of events in the cat and mouse games of Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Has Ridge doomed his engagement to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) with his obsession with Quinn? Ridge planted a kiss on his dad’s wife after they shared a scotch in San Francisco but Quinn knows enough about schemes to see through him.
Quinn confronts Ridge for trying to set her up to look bad to her new hubby Eric Forrester (John McCook) and calls him out. This results in one of the first “real” conversations between the adversaries and it changes everything between them.
Ridge has only seen the tough outer shell of Quinn and the damage she can cause but now he sees her softer side and he’s not sure anymore that he wants to destroy her. Even more shocking is that Quinn and Ridge strike up a friendship that stuns everyone back in LA.
It’s what Eric hoped for, but never expected and the last thing Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will stand for. Liam was counting on Ridge to be his ally in the battle against Quinn but now that plan is in the dust. What will Brooke think about this change in attitude?
Brooke is off to Italy and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) plans to follow. Can he wreck Brooke and Ridge’s engagement and win her back? Liam has had it with everything and confronts Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInne Wood). He thinks she’s dragging her heels on her divorce.
This won’t sit well with Steffy who loves him but also doesn’t like that she’s technically cheating on her husband Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) to be with him. Has Liam pushed Steffy too far this time? Wyatt goes to bat for himself and tries again to get Steffy to drop the divorce.
There’s nothing attractive about the smell of desperation and Wyatt reeks of it right now. Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fodė) shares some sad news with Steffy but is this about Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) or something else? Thomas has some grievances to air.
Thomas hasn’t said so to Steffy yet, but he’s offended their grandfather didn’t think of him when shopping for a new CEO within the family. Thomas will have words with Eric soon about this. Also this week, two old pals bond while discussing their significant others.
News broke at the end of the year that Linsey Godfrey was taken off contract at B&B and now another ingenue at the CBS soap has been bumped. Felisha Cooper (Sasha Thompson) has been pulled off contract so perhaps Thomas’ sad news is her departure.
Thomas and Sasha had already split but they were still friends. Sad to see fewer Avants on the screen since the elder Avants are rarely around – and now this! There is no new B&B on Friday, January 20 because of the presidential inauguration.
