The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Pierson Fode’s exit as Thomas Forrester could leave an opening for a Y&R fan favorite to take over the role. The buzz is that CBS could be eying Michael Muhney (ex-Adam Newman) to step into the role of Thomas Forrester. If Muhney joins the B&B cast, Y&R would be left scrambling to find the new face of Adam!
On Thursday, September 14, Pierson will say goodbye to a role that he has made his own for two years. He will call Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and tell her he will be moving permanently to New York City with Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey). Sally will take this news hard and miss Thomas, but she will be fine. Spectra Fashions will be fine without Thomas.
Fode said goodbye to The Bold and the Beautiful via Instagram and shared that CBS said they would recast the role. He had mixed feelings about someone else in the role of Thomas but hopes they will love Mr. Forrester as much as he does. It got the B&B fans thinking about who could be the next Thomas, and one name comes to mind –Michael Muhney!
For the people who don’t know who Michael is, he played Adam Newman on Y&R from 2009-2013. He could capture Adam’s dark yet charming characteristics by making him very personable but sharp. Muhney is truly a professional and would show up, make Thomas his own character, and bring Thomas back in the spotlight.
Even though The Bold and the Beautiful plans to recast the role, fans should expect Thomas to disappear for a few months. He will return down the road with the scoop that Caroline bamboozled him revealing she was never sick. Perhaps, Thomas will return to Sally again, but, by that time, she could have a new beau.
While many Y&R fans would love to see Muhney as Adam again, if CBS doesn’t plan on rehiring him, Thomas would be the perfect role for him. Would you like to see Michael Muhney as Thomas Forrester?
