The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman’s recast could lead to big problems for Nick (Joshua Morrow). Now that it’s confirmed that Adam Newman is alive and returning to Genoa City Y&R fans can expect storylines to begin to incorporate that fact. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and her beau are already facing some issues right now. Secrets are threatening to drive them apart.
However, things may settle down if Chelsea locates Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and gets some form of justice. She won’t be happy when she learns Nick hid Victor’s (Eric Braeden) involvement with Chloe, but she might find a way to forgive him. After all, Chelsea is hiding the truth about Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity. Her guilt could lead her to give Nick a second chance.
Once the conflict is resolved, maybe Chelsea and Nick will get their romance back on track. Their feelings could grow much stronger. The Young and the Restless watchers know that relationships move quickly on the CBS soap. If Chelsea and Nick stick together, a proposal should be coming up soon.
Nick might pop the question and encourage Chelsea to let go of the past. She would undoubtedly struggle to marry again, but she would likely move forward with the marriage anyway. Chelsea could begin planning her nuptials as she tried to put Adam behind her.
Meanwhile, Scott (Daniel Hall) or someone else with investigative skills will discover Adam. Perhaps Adam had some memory loss after narrowly escaping death in the blast. As he slowly remembers his love story with Chelsea, he could get hit with some alarming news.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam would be stunned if he found out Chelsea was about to marry Nick. He might be angry with his brother for going overboard on his promise to take care of Chelsea and Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). Adam could insist that Chelsea already has a loving husband and he wants his wife back.
This could set up Adam’s epic return to Genoa City. The Young and the Restless viewers always enjoy a drama-filled wedding. Adam might rush in and stop Chelsea from committing to Nick. It could be quite a scene. Chelsea would probably faint from the shock of seeing her “dead” hubby.
Adam is also a wanted man, thanks to the frame up job courtesy of dear old dad and Chloe’s conspiracy, so Paul (Doug Davidson) would have to make an arrest. Poor Adam might forget about the consequences momentarily. He would just be caught up in halting the marital madness!
