The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will be found dead. What appears to be an accident, could also have been murder. Victor’s (Eric Braeden) past statements and sudden departure from Genoa City will make him a prime suspect in Chloe’s demise.
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Billy (Jason Thompson) recently read a letter from Chloe that resurrects the Bella (Cali May Kinder) paternity issue. That’s important plot wise because it’s the last major bit of unresolved storyline that’s linked to the Chloe character.
It was interesting that the Adam (Justin Hartley) angle was fully played out before Hendrickson departed the cast, but that the Bella paternity reveal was withheld until after she left. At the time The Young and the Restless viewers weren’t sure if the identity of Bella’s father would remain an open-question, or be resolved. Chloe’s letter sets in motion the coming answer, but also allows Hendrickson’s character to be disposed of.
Chloe lied to Victor, after luring him to the airport earlier this month. She told him that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) discovered the materials she used to frame Adam for the concocted murder of Constance Bingham (Sally Kellerman). Victor agreed to allow her to fly off in his corporate jet. Minutes after she had done so, Nick (Joshua Morrow) informed his dad that Chloe admitted to killing Adam by blowing up the cabin.
Victor told Chloe that he never wanted to see her again after agreeing to aid her escape. After learning that she was Adam’s killer, he vowed to deal with her. The Young and the Restless spoilers say this obviously represents the most personal affront of Victor’s entire life. Seeking his son’s killer isn’t something he would contract out in this instance. No, he would be hands-on.
All connected characters haven’t been discussing the possibility, or likelihood that Victor left Genoa City so that he could search Thunder Bay, Ontario, where Chloe is known to have gotten off his jet. Chloe would have been either hiding there, or left a trail as to where she went next.
Considering that Chloe was in Canada and in recalling the past use of anonymous corpses in past soapy stories within the genre, it’s also possible that Victor fakes Chloe’s death. Could he secretly hold her hostage in the Peruvian prison where one-eared Marco (Peter Bergman) was returned to, or at some other remote location? In one word, yes.
However, this arc will be pushed as an unsolved murder with various characters suspected. Chief among them will the one and only Victor Newman.
