The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Did Chloe Learn Adam Didn't Kill Delia - Adam Exonerated In Death?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) crimes will be exposed and Adam Newman’s (Justin Hartley) name will potentially be cleared regarding his perceived role in Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) death. Whether Hartley filmed advanced scenes before he voluntarily departed Y&R last year, or if Michael Muhney is returning to the cast, or a new actor will be cast to play Adam has yet to be confirmed. But viewers will soon learn much more about both characters.

Y&R fans know for a fact that Chloe assaulted Adam in the cabin last September. She shot him with a dart gun. Her choice of that particular weapon should be logically followed to plausible conclusions. Chloe’s premeditated crime included the avoidance of having gunshot residue on her body. Thus the dart gun option makes sense. Of course her not having destroyed or discarded the weapon is illogical, but this is Miss Mitchell. Her state of mind before and certainly after Delia’s death has long been in question.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Did Chloe Learn Adam Didn't Kill Delia - Adam Exonerated In Death?

The Young and the Restless spoilers ask did Chloe wilfully create the cabin explosion as part of her revenge plot? If not the aforementioned dart gun possibly contained some type of poison, in addition to a fast-acting sedative. She might simply have intended to prevent Adam from escaping, after which Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) would have found her husband dead.

If Chloe did intend to blow up the cabin, then confronting and sedating Adam makes complete sense. Neutralizing him would have allowed time for her to set a triggering device and then run. Boom, Adam begone forever.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Did Chloe Learn Adam Didn't Kill Delia - Adam Exonerated In Death?

The leading reason why Chloe is often excoriated on social media involves the actions she’s taken against Adam since his face was worn by Michael Muhney. Many in Genoa City embraced the conclusion that he must have hit Delia on that dark road during the now infamous October 2013 night. But the visual evidence Y&R viewers were shown has allowed them to remain rightfully skeptical regarding Adam’s complete innocence.

Wouldn’t it be possible that Chloe somehow discovered that Adam was innocent after she blew up the cabin, thereby killing her nemesis? Would she come forward after committing these revenge crimes and after realizing that they were unjustified? No. Instead she’d be racked by guilt that would be eating her up inside.
