The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Dina’s (Marla Adams) slow decline is about to speed up. Her family members have already become suspicious of the battle Dina is facing. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) are concerned, but it seems they’ve come to the wrong conclusion. Ash is convinced that Dina is simply depressed and needs something to do.
However, Dina is actually hiding an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Graham (Max Shippee) has been doing everything he can to keep this quiet, but the truth will eventually come out. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Dina’s symptoms will worsen on this week’s new Y&R episodes. Graham will find himself in a tight spot when he has to cover for her.
Nevertheless, Graham will be happy to do it. It’s clear that he’s quite loyal to Dina, but why? Y&R fans know that a deal is in place. Graham has promised to see Dina through this to the end. After she spent some time with her kids, Graham tried to rush Dina back to Europe. He suggested that they did what they came to do.
It appears Graham agreed to help Dina make amends or at least reach out to her children before her mind failed her. Graham kept that promise, but he’s always been protective of Dina when she’s around Jack and Ashley. He’s worried that Dina will continue to drift away from the arrangement they made.
No one knows the exact terms of this agreement yet, but Max is obviously helping Dina fulfill her final wishes. He’s grateful for all the mentoring she’s done and he’s being well-paid for his efforts. Dina gives Graham a hefty salary and recently signed over the bulk of her estate to him.
Still, The Young and the Restless spoilers say there could be more to the story. Graham keeps insisting that her kids can’t offer her what he will. He acts like he’s the only one who can grant Dina’s request. Could that request be a death with dignity? Maybe Dina believes euthanasia is her best option.
Jack and Ashley would likely try to change Dina’s mind. They might fight Graham on this, so that could be why they’re being kept out of the loop.
