The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers have learned some shocking news: Eileen Davidson will be returning to NBC’s daytime drama Days of Our Lives (DOOL) and has begun filming at the beginning of June. What does this mean for her Y&R character, Ashley Abbott and her screen time?
Although it is not known whether she will be playing both roles at the same time, you can be sure she will be at her best either way. This isn’t the first time Davidson has portrayed characters, on two shows airing at the same time; in fact, she is infamously known for playing several characters at the same time on DOOL including Susan Banks and Kristen DiMera.
Y&R sources have not revealed which character she is returning to play since Kristen DiMera has been presumed dead after she fought with Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and fell out the window into the dark depths below. Is is possible Kristen survived all this time and is finally returning to Salem to help fix her broken family?
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Andre (Thaao Penghlis) are the only remaining DiMeras and they haven’t seen eye-to-eye in a very long time. Could Kristen be the solution to their problems? Now that her father, Stefano DiMera (the late-Joseph Mascolo) has been imprisoned, could Eileen Davidson’s return mean she is coming on his behalf or does she have something more sinister planned?
