The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, July 28, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will worry about the trouble that could be looming for Noah (Robert Adamson). Sharon (Sharon Case) will contend that she’s gotten to know Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) a bit better. She’ll think she seems nice enough, but Nick won’t be so sure.
Later, Nick will bring up his fears to his son. Y&R spoilers state that Noah will blast Nick for refusing to trust his judgment. He’ll insist that it’s important for Nick to believe in his decisions. That’s especially true since they’re partnering up on an expansion project.
At the television studio, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will also have Tessa on her mind. She’ll recall the warm moment they recently shared on the couch. When Tessa shows up, she’ll admit that she’s never been on an airplane before. Mariah will note that Tessa shouldn’t be nervous. They’ll gush over how much they like each other until things get weird.
At Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) place, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) will hear about Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) latest move. She’ll be surprised to learn that Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) mom cost Cane a shot at another job. Jesse will arrive to collect his cash, but Cane will manage to cover with Mattie. She’ll leave them to chat alone.
When Cane reveals that he doesn’t have the money yet, Jesse will give him until the end of the night. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane will examine Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie’s college fund information. He’ll realize there’s enough in the account to pay Jesse, but he’ll be hesitant to make the transfer.
Once Lily comes home, she’ll tell Cane she’s concerned about their financial situation. Her agent hasn’t given her any updates on her commercial audition yet. Lily will wish they’d been smarter about saving over the years. As Cane pulls Lily in for a hug, he’ll stealthily shut his laptop.
At the pool bar, Charlie will confront Reed about dating Mattie. He’ll insist that Reed needs to dump her if he truly cares. They’ll bicker until Mattie arrives. After Reed squeals on Charlie, Mattie will point out that Victoria sabotaged Cane’s latest offer. Reed will hope they can put all this behind them, but Mattie will still pass on going to The Underground with him.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon (Bryton James) and Neil (Kristoff St. John) will get some new office space. They’ll set up shop at the athletic club and Mattie will serve as an intern. Neil will feel like Mattie has the skill set to be more than a typical gofer. Meanwhile, Devon will meet up with Tessa, Mariah and Noah. They’ll hop on his private jet and head off to the concert festival.
Across town, Billy will approach Jesse to interrogate him about Hollywood. He’ll want the real story and Jesse will be willing to give it if the price is right.
