The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 8, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will worry about Sharon (Sharon Case) putting herself in harm’s way. He’ll insist that she can’t just confront Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck). It’d be too risky. Nick won’t know what he’d do if anything happened to Sharon, so she’ll agree to steer clear of the danger.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will spot their hug when she walks in. Once Sharon’s gone, Chelsea will get updates from Nick. He’ll explain the Alice situation as well as Sharon’s hunch. In the athletic club’s gym, Scott (Daniel Hall) will taunt Abby (Melissa Ordway) about her missing boyfriend. Abby will brush off Zack’s (Ryan Ashton) absence, but she’ll obviously be irked.
At Alice’s house, Zack will tell Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) that he knows she was in touch with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). He’ll warn that there’ll be trouble if it happens again. Afterward, Zack will instruct Alice to find another location for Crystal to stay at. He won’t think it’s a good idea for her to remain at Alice’s place.
Once Zack finally joins Abby, she’ll lash out at him for ditching her. Zack will try to apologize, but Abby won’t want to hear it. When she prepares to leave, Zack will snarl that she’d better not walk away from him. Abby will be surprised by this menacing side of Zack, but she’ll just head for the door.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Tessa will struggle to cope. She’ll fill Mariah (Camryn Grimes) in on how rough her life was growing up. Tessa was able to break free and she wanted a better life for Crystal, too.
Mariah will promise that they’ll find a way to get Crystal back. After getting some info from Sharon, the girls will secretly head off to Alice’s house. Mariah will be concerned about how Sharon would react, but Tessa won’t really care. She’ll urge Mariah to stay in the car since she looks just like Cassie (Camryn Grimes). Tessa will believe this is something she has to do on her own.
Meanwhile, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will warn Devon (Bryton James) about manipulative Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). She’ll argue that Jordan is taking advantage of Lily (Christel Khalil) during her time of crisis. Later, Devon will confront Jordan about his smooth moves. Y&R spoilers say Jordan will defend his friendship with Lily. He’ll note that if it turns into a romance, that’ll be Lily’s choice.
At Lily’s place, she’ll share a deep conversation with Cane (Daniel Goddard) as he expresses regret. Lily will admit that Cane is a good guy. He’ll vow to fix this, but they’ll eventually change the topic. When Cane confesses that he’s going to have another son, Lily will suggest that she’s happy for him.
Back with Sharon, she’ll tell Scott what they’ve learned about Alice so far. He’ll side with Nick when it comes to avoiding peril. Unfortunately, Sharon will soon find herself in danger anyway.
