The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, February 1, tease that an explosive argument is on the way. Jill (Jess Walton) will insist that she should’ve been kept in the loop on the deal with Jabot. She owns half of Fenmore’s and would’ve given Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) the money.
Lauren will imply that’s why she kept Jill in the dark. She has no intention of making Fenmore’s a subsidiary of Chancellor. Jill will try to protest, but Lauren will contend that she’s sticking to the plan. Later, Jack (Peter Bergman) will find Lauren and she’ll sign the contract.
Meanwhile, Jill will give Colin (Tristan Rogers) updates on the situation. She’ll be furious that Lauren is going against her wishes. Colin will wonder what Jill intends on doing about it. She’ll think she needs go behind Lauren’s back and buy Jack’s share from him. Colin will warn Jill of the risks, so she’ll agree to mull it over before she does anything drastic.
At Brash and Sassy, Billy (Jason Thompson) will pull the witch meme up on his phone. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will hate the idea of potential buyers stumbling across it. Billy will urge Victoria to focus on what’s truly important. It’s time to make things right with Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). He feels like his mom doesn’t care about him.
Y&R spoilers say Victoria will agree to repair the damage. She’ll meet up with Reed at Crimson Lights to apologize. Victoria will vow to react appropriately in the future. She’ll also give Reed some tickets to a pop-up concert in Chicago. Reed will surprise Victoria by inviting her to go with him.
At GC Buzz, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will get a surprise as well. Devon (Bryton James) will announce that Hilary is staying at the show and she’ll be working with a cohost. He’ll call Mariah (Camryn Grimes) over to explain how this is going to work. Hilary will cover the scandalous material and Mariah can do the heartwarming stuff.
After going over the script, Mariah and Hilary will wish each other luck. They’ll try to get along for Devon’s sake. Later, Hilary will ask Roz to make an adjustment to the script. She’ll have something special in store for Mariah. Once the episode kicks off, the clip of Mariah falling will play. Hilary will give an on-air apology for causing the incident.
It sounds like Hilary is making an effort, but is it all for show? Mariah will certainly think so. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah just won’t believe Hilary was being sincere. Mariah will likely express doubt on Thursday, but Devon will be a little impressed by Hilary’s move.
