The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) appears to have something seriously wrong with her. Now that IT guy Ravi Shapur (Abhi Sinha) is working with Dina’s daughter and his love interest, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), they may finally have some answers about what is truly going on.
Y&R’s Ravi sat with Ashley after the charity concert and expresses his concern for Dina after observing her recently. Dina has been rather callous and cold with her children, Ashley and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) with Traci Abbott Connolly (Beth Maitland) expressing how different their mother really is lately.
The Young and the Restless spoilers show Dina having a violent outburst and slapping Jack when she doesn’t like the attitude he is giving her – then a few minutes after meeting with granddaughter, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) she makes an aggressive move by making a major investment in the Buyer Tech sector.
Y&R fans have been quite curious about Dina and her mentality, wondering if she could possibly be suffering from dementia. She clearly has memory loss and confusion, even getting very sentimental when she sang the song she always sang to Jack when he was younger. She seems a little bit lost and it is entirely possible she sold her company because she could no longer do the every day tasks required to keep control.
Another source suggests that Dina may have Alzheimer’s Disease, and although it is similar to Dementia, she has been struggling to cope with her new environment. She refuses to allow Abby to call her “grandmother” and is definitely over-reacting to Jack and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) friendship; but the most notable symptom is her impulsive behavior, which is revealed in The Young and the Restless spoilers by buying tons of stock in Abby’s new company idea.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that maybe Graham Bloodworth (Max Shippee) is the one behind Dina’s diminishing health. It is clear he is after something and now that Dina has signed her will over to Graham, it wouldn’t take much for her constant companion to resort to devious ways to make sure she becomes gravely ill, ensuring he gets everything from her before her children could fight and attempt to change her mind.
