The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease Jess Walton (Jill) is headed back to the CBS soap soon. That’s great news for Jill fans, but her portrayer recently passed along some difficult updates from her personal life. In a Facebook post, Walton revealed that her horse is battling some health issues. She explained that Ace is dealing with a stomach impaction and it’s causing severe pain for the poor fella.
Walton asked for support from anyone who’s willing to give it. “Please send prayers and good wishes for this good boy,” Walton said. She added that she would appreciate it and she sent her gratitude out to fans.
It looks like Ace is adored by his family, so we all wish him well. It’s always tough hear about animals suffering, but maybe Ace’s condition will improve. Let’s hope things will settle down so Ace can get back to enjoying himself.
As for Walton’s character, The Young and the Restless viewers can expect some fun when Jill returns to town with Colin (Tristan Rogers). Y&R hasn’t released any storyline details yet, but perhaps they’ll encourage Cane (Daniel Goddard) after the sexual harassment lawsuit blows up. Cane will certainly need some loved ones his corner.
Jill may not be happy with the way Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has been running Brash and Sassy either. She could rip into Victoria for how she treated Cane during his time of crisis. Then again, maybe Colin will keep Jill busy with some trouble of his own. He usually manages to cause plenty of it when he’s around.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless will definitely find a plot for Jill and Cane. Y&R’s head writer, Sally Sussman, seems to like using the soap’s vets. We’ve been seeing a lot of Dina (Marla Adams) lately, so she might face off with Jill at some point. They have strong personalities and that tends to lead to confrontations in Genoa City.
