The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Juliet Cracks In Courtroom, Never Slept With Cane – Brash and Sassy Wins, Cane Lose

The Young and the Restless (Y&R)) spoilers tease that Juliet’s (Laur Allen) malleable personality will cause her to crack in the courtroom. Despite Leslie’s (Angell Conwell) best efforts, Brash and Sassy will successfully defend against Juliet’s sexual harassment charge. However, damning testimony will tag Cane (Daniel Goddard) as a loser.

Lily (Christel Khalil) is right to have her doubts. She’s trying to believe her husband and knows that a friendship was developing with Juliet. However, an argument she witnessed between that duo, combined with an increasing number of questions makes mid-June a tenuous time for Mrs. Ashby in Genoa City.

All ‘what if’ scenarios don’t really matter at this point. Of course Cane shouldn’t have drank like a frat boy after Juliet saved his hide in Japan. But he did. That led to those two heading up to his hotel room. Cane wasn’t able to make it on his own, so Juliet felt compelled to help him.

With whatever her tolerance level was, Juliet appeared to be more alert than Cane after the door was opened. But she didn’t simply guide him to his bedroom and then leave. Whether they actually did more than sleep in that bed is still debatable.

Yes, Cane could have told Lily everything after he arrived home. When he didn’t the coverup began to deepen his moral crime. And thus the rub, Cane thought he had to lie to his wife and then took the same defensive posture with Vickie (Amelia Heinle) regarding the extent of his activities on that fated night.

Juliet’s problem is that Cane never directly stated that she needed to sleep with him in order to secure a job at Brash and Sassy. That point is subjective, rather than cemented. That opening will surely be hammered hard by Michael (Christian LeBlanc).

However, Cane’s true problems aren’t based in legal nitpicking. He’s going to be clearly revealed as a liar because of what will be said in front of the judge. As viewers know, Cane may also be outed as a saboteur because of what he did to Billy (Jason Thompson) in Los Angeles.

Whether Juliet comes across as someone who took advantage of Cane in Tokyo and then used that situation to file a legal claim because she was humiliated after being fired is questionable. This case isn’t clear from various angles. However, Cane’s words will do him in no matter whether there’s a verdict in either party’s favor, or none at all. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Young and the Restless.
