The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) could be leaving Genoa City once he discovers his mother Gloria Abbott Bardwell’s (Judith Chapman) role in tampering with Bella’s (Cali May Kinder) paternity test. The Young and the Restless has decided not to renew Greg Rikaart’s contract and announced that they won’t kill off his character, Kevin.
Alternative exit storylines for Kevin are feasible but many dedicated Y&R fans on social media have expressed concern that Gloria had a hand in ‘proving’ her dear son was Bella’s dad. Gloria had means, motive, and with the ever-bumbling GCPD, ample opportunity!
Y&R’s Gloria knew Kevin had no reason to remain in Genoa City once he was left standing at the altar as his love, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), escaped town to evade a prison sentence for kidnapping and killing Adam Newman (Justin Hartley). Gloria knew the only possible way to make her beloved son stay was to convince him that Bella was his biological daughter, so she made that happen.
Since the news broke that Greg Rikaart will be leaving The Young and the Restless in August, Y&R sources have suggested that a ‘new’ truth about Bella will be revealed. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that this truth could come with a shocking twist: Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is not Bella’s father either, Scotty Grainger (Daniel Hall) is!
The Young and the Restless fans remember how Chloe and Scott knew each other from when she was supposedly in treatment. It would appear that Scott and Chloe had an intimate relationship shortly after she left Genoa City ending in her pregnancy with Bella. This revelation combined with being left at the alter by Chloe will leave Kevin devastated and no longer wanting to remain in Genoa City.
This startling news, although sad for Kevin, is great news for Scott as not only does he have his mother, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) and his stepfather, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to keep him in town, he now has a little girl to think of. Will Scott use his investigative skills as a writer to uncover what happened to Chloe and what will he do with what he uncovers?
Y&R will begin Kevin’s exit storyline and viewers of the CBS daytime drama will not want to miss it.
