The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lily and Jordan Won't Become Involved – Cane Cheats Instead

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that some viewers will be head-faked by Sally Sussman and her writing team. Lily (Christel Khalil) won’t enter into a serious romantic relationship with Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). Instead, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will come to believe that his wife has crossed a line and react impetuously, just as Lily did in the recent past.

Joe Clark (Scott Elrod) wasn’t a likeable character. While Elrod is a fine actor, the rogue he played disrupted Lane, which is well-liked by a broad segment of Y&R’s fan base. Joe took advantage of Lily at a vulnerable time and of course was confronting many other personal, including those with his ex-wife Avery (Jessica Collins), during his stay in Genoa City.

Cane’s current mood has been swayed by two factors that he feels is applying pressure to his life. He has been working hard at Brash and Sassy, while Vickie (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) have jumped from one crisis to another. Plus, they’ve consistently injected their messy personal lives into the workplace ever since Jill (Jess Walton) created the three-headed monster that led this former Newman Enterprises’ division.

The word ‘led’ was used in the last sentence because Cane’s equality in the company is now past tense. He planned to become one-third owner of Brash and Sassy, as Jill initially offered to all three parties. However, Vickie tapped the massive funds she gained by suing her father, along with her siblings, years ago and bought the company she initially led from its inception.

Combine Cane’s demoralized state with Lily’s recent and unexpected return to the modeling world. A transformed home life and a chaotic work space has resulted, which then drives Cane to read between the lines.

Now, stating that Lily won’t enter into a serious romantic relationship with Jordan doesn’t preclude flirting, or possibly even a kiss. Yes, that would be crossing the line, as married people who are committed don’t allow themselves to be open to the lures that others might offer. But crossing moral lines, depending upon distance, also doesn’t blow up the nuptial bridge.

Lily believed that Cane was involved with Lauren (Tracy Bregman) in the past. In this instance, he’ll be drawn to someone different. That lady might be part of the cast and then again, she might be a recurring character. Of course the modeling world brings many taut women into focus. So Lily would be wise to keep an eye on her slim colleagues, as one of them could catch more than Cane’s eye.
