The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 9, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will sit down for a business meeting with Gloria (Judith Chapman). He’ll wonder what kind of deal she has in mind. Gloria will suggest that she can make sure Jack is an investor at Fenmore’s. She’ll just want a small role in return.
Jack will pass along the news to Ashley (Eileen Davidson), but she won’t approve of the risks. Ash will argue that Gloria is about the last person they should trust. Nevertheless, this might be an offer Jack can’t refuse. The Young and the Restless fans will be anxious to see Jack’s next move.
Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will disagree with Billy’s (Jason Thompson) parenting ideas. She’ll think she needs to set firm boundaries for Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) instead of bending the rules. Furthermore, Victoria won’t think it’s any of Billy’s business. She’ll contend that she can take care of everything on her own.
Later, Billy will catch up with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) for coffee at Crimson Lights. He’ll compliment her hair color and they’ll engage in some small talk. When Phyllis brings up Victoria, Billy will suggest they work well together at Brash and Sassy. Phyllis will want updates on their personal relationship, but Billy won’t divulge anything.
Reed will also run into Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) at the coffeehouse. After a hug, Nikki will state that she’s glad Reed is in Genoa City. On the patio, Billy will find Reed killing some time. He’ll get Reed to open up about how he’s adjusting. Reed will think Victoria wants him to be somebody he’s not, but Billy will urge him to go easy on his mom.
At Victoria’s place, Nikki will believe she should stop being so stubborn. Billy could be a big help to Victoria right now. Victoria will insist that phase of her life is over. She’ll maintain that her relationship with Billy is finished permanently. When Billy brings Reed home, they’ll all make plans for dinner and a board game.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will drop a bomb on Michael (Christian LeBlanc). She’ll finally decide that he needs to know the truth about Fenmore’s. Lauren will confess that things are far worse that she initially claimed. Michael will wonder why she played it so cool, but Lauren will simply indicate that she was ashamed.
After they work through it, Y&R spoilers say Michael will give Lauren a kiss. He’ll insist that everything will get straightened out. However, Michael will be a little irked when Gloria admits she knew before him.
At Jabot, Phyllis will stop by her old office to retrieve a file. Ravi (Abhi Sinha), who happens to be the new office dweller, will have a chat with Phyllis about coding. Once Ashley finds them, she’ll ask what Phyllis is doing there. After some arguing, Phyllis will storm out and Ashley will yank her old nameplate off the door. There’s still plenty of tension between these two and you can bet there’s more to come.
