The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will grow much closer. It seems like Chelsea is finally letting herself fall for Nick. She was hesitant to move on from Adam (Justin Hartley), especially since this romance involves his brother.
Nevertheless, Nick will point out that they have a real spark. Chelsea will agree that they can’t ignore what’s happening between them. Of course, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is less than thrilled about Nick and Chelsea’s relationship. Now that Sharon (Sharon Case) is single, Faith believes this is her chance to push her parents together again.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Faith will do her best to pull Nick away from Chelsea. She’ll also hope to put Nick back in Sharon’s orbit. Sharon and Nick will probably realize what’s going on. They may have to share a few conversations about how to handle their daughter.
Faith may not mind getting a lecture or two as long as her parents are talking. It may look like Faith’s plan is failing, but it could actually work in a way she didn’t expect. Nick and Sharon could easily bond over their attempt to cope with the crisis. Once they start chatting more often, they’ll have plenty of opportunities to reconnect.
In other words, there are multiple paths to a reunion. Let’s say Nick and Sharon begin moving in this direction. Chelsea could easily pick up on their feelings for each other. She might break up with Nick and urge him to go after the woman he really wants.
If Y&R wants to do something exciting, they could go for a cheating scandal. Nick has found it difficult to avoid temptation in the past, particularly when it comes to Sharon. He might commit to Chelsea down the road. Nick could even propose if things keep moving along.
Then, Nick’s feelings for Sharon might become too much to bear. Could Sharon and Nick indulge in a night of passion? They would try to hide the truth later, but Chelsea would inevitably find out. She could dump Nick and turn to the dark side.
It might be fun to see Chelsea go back to her sneaky roots. She could target Nick by exposing Christian’s paternity and perhaps starting another custody war. After all, they’re both stepparents. Chelsea has become a bit boring without Adam to keep her on her toes. The Young and the Restless could use this storyline to make her character more interesting.
