The Young and the Restless spoilers for new Y&R episodes tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) will try to help Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) move forward. They know she’s faced a lot of changes lately, but they’re hoping things will settle down. Faith needs stability and guidance right now.
Nick is beginning a real relationship with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sharon has big plans for her own future. They want Faith to understand that they’re on separate paths now. Of course, we all know a Nick and Sharon reunion can’t be too far away. The fact that Nick dismisses the idea makes it pretty much inevitable.
However, Chelsea and Nick are obviously in a good place at the moment. They’re comfortable with intimacy and that could strengthen their connection. If Faith finally accepts that her parents aren’t getting back together, there won’t be anything to hold Nick and Chelsea back.
After a couple months of date nights and sex romps, Nick might decide that he needs to propose. Most men on Y&R never wait too long before popping the question. How would Chelsea react to that? Would it drive her away or pull her closer? The Young and the Restless fans would be curious to see her response.
Chelsea might be a little freaked out initially, but she’d probably get on board sooner or later. Perhaps Sharon could offer to pitch in on wedding preparations. She might want to prove she isn’t harboring any deep feelings for Nick. In reality, Sharon could feel a strong desire to win back her ex.
Nevertheless, Sharon might push those feelings aside. She could try to convince herself that the past should remain in the past. Meanwhile, Chelsea would tell herself that as well. She’ll always love Adam (Justin Hartley), but she’s ready to move on.
Chelsea is still hiding the truth about Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity, which could present a problem down the road. Will Chelsea really be able to stay silent forever? Since Nick and Sharon are poised for a reunion, something should eventually spark a breakup for “Chick.”
Let’s say Chelsea decides she can’t marry Nick until she gets the paternity issue off her chest. She might feel like their marriage shouldn’t be built on lies. Chelsea always demanded honesty from Adam. Can she say “I do” with all this deception haunting her?
Chelsea could come clean to Nick just before their wedding. She might even blurt out the news at the actual ceremony! That could create some soapy drama and send Nick running back to Sharon.
