The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will try to put the spark back in his relationship. After Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) secret blew up, it caused total chaos. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was understandably upset about her best friend’s betrayal. She’s been trying to remember that Chloe is truly unstable and needs professional help.
However, Victor (Eric Braeden) is perfectly sane and has no excuse for his actions. He brought a dangerous woman to town and the results were tragic. Adam’s (Justin Hartley) death could’ve been prevented if Victor hadn’t been so cruel. His decision to team up with Chloe has been a devastating blow to the Newman clan.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick realizes Chelsea would explode if she knew the whole story. He’s respecting Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) wishes by keeping quiet. Nick agreed that they should probably avoid the scandal and just keep their mouths shut. He hates letting his father go free, but at least Victor’s still facing punishment from most of his family members.
Nevertheless, hiding this from Chelsea won’t be an easy task. When Chelsea inevitably starts asking questions, Nick will be forced to lie. He’ll try to get their romance back on track, but his secret could create tension. Chelsea may feel like they can’t move forward if Nick is keeping things from her.
The stress could take a toll on Nick. The Young and the Restless fans know that Nick has been growing closer to Sharon (Sharon Case) lately. She served as a confidant when Nick was putting together the Chloe puzzle. If the deception becomes too much for Nick to bear, he may spill his guts to Sharon.
Sharon could promise to stay tight-lipped about Victor’s involvement in Chloe’s crimes. Meanwhile, Scott (Daniel Hall) will keep digging for answers. If Sharon learns what’s up, it could cause issues with her truth-seeking new love interest.
Scott is a man who values honesty. He won’t appreciate it if he believes Sharon doesn’t trust him. Once he’s in the loop as well, Scott may have a problem with Sharon letting Victor evade justice. Of course, the secret spillage could also come back to haunt Nick. Chelsea would be hurt if she realized Nick told Sharon before her. She could suspect that Sharon is the one Nick wants to be with.
