The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki Leaves Victor for Jack By Labor Day – Victor Courts Ashley For Revenge

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that the end of Niktor is near. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will leave Victor (Eric Braeden) for Jack (Peter Bergman) by the time Labor Day arrives. This scenario has been played before, but will be given a number of modern twists to keep Y&R’s loyal audience engaged.

The current frost that’s existed between Mr. and Mrs. Newman has been a bit different than past personality tiffs. In this instance, Nikki opted to remain with her husband in order to retain a positive public appearance. She’s also had the backing of Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle), who were also disgusted by what they learned about their father’s link to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). She being the person who believes Adam’s (Justin Hartley) demise occurred via her explosive hands.

It appeared that Victor’s most recent grand gesture had created the opportunity for a thaw, if not an actual reconciliation. That observation was short-lived, as Nikki and Jack have been seeking solace with each other, be it of the verbal kind. A kiss between them will change that trajectory.

Longtime fans know that Jack and Nikki were once married. Mrs. Abbott miscarried before giving birth to their son John Abbott III. That baby died shortly after birth.

John Abbott III’s death was infamously caused by Victor having tugged on Nikki’s arm as she was ascending the stairs at the original Newman Ranch. That’s the home Sharon (Sharon Case) burned down and then blamed her action on a mental disorder. Oh yes, Victor was briefly married to this woman, his son’s ex-wife, as well. Such is soap.

Anyway, Nikki fell backwards down the stairs and the tragedy occurred. She and Jack donated the boy’s heart to a another baby in need. That incident, more than any other, infinitely deepened the grudge Jack holds against Victor. More than a lout, Victor is the man who Jack feels killed his son.

Nikki has recently been so sickened by the sight of Victor (until recently) that it stands to reason any perceived provocation will be the trigger that sends her into Jack’s arms indefinitely. Might that then result in Victor attempting to woo Ashley (Eileen Davidson) back as well?

As Jack’s sister, Ashley could easily be targeted in this latest round of a hyper-competitive game that dates back decades. Though Ravi (Abhi Sinha) shouldn’t be counted out of that potential battle with the great Victor Newman. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Young and the Restless.
