The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that trouble is brewing on August 4. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), Noah (Robert Adamson), Devon (Bryton James) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) are all headed to a music festival. Unfortunately, plans will go awry once they arrive.
Y&R spoilers state that Jessie Godderz, a pro wrestler and former Big Brother contestant, will pop up as an intimidating security guard. Tessa and Noah will be a bit unnerved when this burly guy gives them an attitude. Noah will likely stand up to him, but everyone knows who would win this fight. It certainly wouldn’t be the wimpy Newman!
Perhaps Devon will convince Mariah to break up the party for a while. He didn’t really want Noah and Tessa to come on this trip anyway, so he might hope to squeeze in some alone time. That could leave Noah and Tessa stuck in this jam. There may some confusion over the tickets or something along those lines.
However, Mariah is becoming increasingly uncomfortable with her relationship. She cares about Devon (Bryton James), but they’re facing major issues. For starters, Devon is constantly staring at his ex. No matter how many times he reassures her, Mariah just can’t believe Devon is truly over Hilary (Mishael Morgan).
There’s no doubt that Mariah’s insecurity is causing problems, but there’s also some truth to her claims. Devon can’t change the connection he feels with Hilary. He had something special with her and that doesn’t go away overnight. In Devon’s case, it may not go away at all.
Next, there’s Tessa and Mariah’s growing bond. It appears Mariah is confused about what this means. She knows she likes Tessa as a friend, but she’s wondering if there’s more to it than that. It’s easy to see that Tessa would be on board for some romance. She’s been giving Mariah “the look” for weeks.
This trip could be an illuminating experience for several Y&R characters. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah will confide in Devon at some point. Since she’s still figuring out her feelings for Tessa, she probably won’t mention that yet. Instead, they may rehash Devon’s relationship with Hilary and any other drama that’s surfacing.
As for Mariah and Tessa, they’re planning an adventure during this getaway. Will it lead to another close moment? Are they on the verge of a kiss or at least some kind of admission?
