The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that two soap relationships are headed for trouble. For starters, it’s easy to see that Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) marriage is hanging by a thread. He barely remembers cheating on Lily thanks to all the alcohol, but his betrayal still stings.
Now Lily feels like they’ll always have a reminder of what Cane did. She wants Cane to step up and be a father to Juliet’s (Laur Allen) child, but it’s going to be painful. Of course, there’s no guarantee that Juliet will really have the baby. She might suffer a miscarriage sooner or later.
There’s also a chance that Juliet lied about the paternity results. Someone might’ve even pulled off a switch at the hospital. Regardless, the damage is done. Lily and Cane’s marriage is a mess right now. They’re trying to put the pieces back together, but it’s been difficult for Lily to overcome her husband’s lies.
Cane will make matters worse when he tries to handle the videographer’s blackmail plot. Next week, Lily will truly be pushed to her limit. She might be willing to walk away and figure out a new path for herself. Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) would probably be on that path.
Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) reconnection is already in motion. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) can tell and she’s desperate to stop it. Y&R fans know that Phyllis is even willing to scheme with her ex. Involving Jack (Peter Bergman) is dangerous, but Phyllis can’t bear the idea of losing Billy to Victoria.
However, Victoria’s medical scare could spark big changes. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will be forced to tackle a major crisis. She’ll face a real challenge the week of August 7-11. Billy will undoubtedly stand by her side through it all.
As they grow closer, Phyllis may make a last-ditch effort to keep them apart. Her move will likely backfire and set up an official “Villy” reunion. The harder Phyllis fights for Billy, the quicker she’ll drive him away.
All of this means Cane and Phyllis could both be single soon. They’ll be schemers who got in their own way. Phyllis and Cane may blame someone else for their problems as well. In other words, they actually have a lot in common.
