The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will continue to keep an eye on Scott (Daniel Hall). He cares about Sharon (Sharon Case) and doesn’t want to see her get hurt. Sharon thinks Nick is simply being overprotective. She’s obviously not concerned about any potential pain in this romance.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) doesn’t like Scott, but she seems to think he’s fairly harmless as well. She fears Scott is becoming Victor’s (Eric Braeden) golden boy, but she doesn’t believe Sharon should worry about anything. Of course, Y&R fans know how quickly things can head downhill. Just look at all the drama Cane (Daniel Goddard) is dealing with right now.
The Young and the Restless characters are always going to make huge mistakes. It’s inevitable on a soap. It appears the show is setting up a hate-turns-to-lust scenario for Abby and Scott. There’s bound to be some sexual tension underneath all the resentment.
We also know Zack (Ryan Ashton) is pretty shady. Sharon mentioned her suspicions to Scott, so he could easily be involved in unraveling this mystery. If Scott figures out what’s up and warns Abby, she may or may not listen to him. Either way, Abby would realize he was right sooner or later. She would likely thank Scott for watching out for her. The tension could begin to lift.
Even if Y&R chooses another route, all the clashing could lead to some passion. It’s not difficult to imagine Scott and Abby falling in bed together. They might regret it afterward and cover up the truth. Soaps thrive on secrets and this could be the next big one on The Young and the Restless.
Since Nick is keeping tabs on Scott, perhaps he could learn what happened. He might find out while eavesdropping and wonder if he should tell Sharon. Since a little piece of Nick is jealous, he would probably expose the cheating scandal. Even though he’s with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) now, part of him may still want his ex.
Chelsea might get the hint eventually and dump her beau. Sharon is certainly going to need some support if Scott betrays her. Could Sharon cry on Nick’s shoulder after the devastation? Is this the beginning of the much reported coming “Shick” reunion? We’ll give you updates as other news comes in.
