The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Scott (Daniel Hall) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will heat things up on new Y&R episodes this coming week of April 10. Their friendship will soon take a romantic turn. After a drunken kiss, these two could be on the path to summer love. Phyllis and Scott seem like they could be a hot pairing.
Of course, many obstacles could emerge on the road to a real relationship. Scott is currently digging deep for Victor’s (Eric Braeden) memoir. He’s particularly interested in anything involving Adam (Justin Hartley). No one can blame Scott for focusing on one of Y&R’s most popular characters!
Adam definitely caused a lot of drama, but he faced a lot of it as well. Some of it was Victor’s fault and he’s going to deal with major backlash as a result. However, Phyllis also has a few very ugly and criminal buried secrets related to Adam. The Young and the Restless viewers can’t forget that Phyllis once had Adam kidnapped during the PassKey fiasco.
Phyllis just needed a little leverage. She wanted to work with Natalie (Mara McCaffray) and abducting Adam at gunpoint was a good way to make it happen. Phyllis claims she never intended on hurting Adam and he was returned safely. Nevertheless, “kidnapper” doesn’t look great on a dating profile. The revelation could make Scott question whether he should be with a woman like Phyllis.
After all, Scott knows what it’s like to be snatched up and held hostage. It was one of the most horrifying experiences of his life. Adam wasn’t sure he’d get out of that jam alive. Scott would probably lash out at Phyllis for putting Adam through that.
Phyllis would undoubtedly be apologetic, but would her remorse be enough? Perhaps Phyllis could fill Scott in on everything Victor made her endure. Scott might soften slightly if he got updates on the extent of Victor’s ruthlessness. Phyllis was repeatedly violated by Jack’s (Peter Bergman) doppelganger, Marco (Peter Bergman).
It’s not like Adam was a saint either. He’s beloved by fans, but he’s done his fair share of dirty deeds. That goes for almost everyone in Genoa City. Still, Scott has been adamant that everything must be included in Victor’s biography. He’s serious about his work and he only wants to print the whole truth.
Will Scott’s quest for honesty cause a rift with Phyllis? Could he be torn about publicly exposing her crimes in the book? It would certainly be an interesting development to explore.
