The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Scotty (Daniel Hall) will cause some major drama once he arrives in Genoa City. Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will be blown away when her son shows up in town. It appears Scotty tried to warn Lauren of his impending arrival, but a bad connection got in the way.
Lauren will be thrilled to see Scotty. They’ll undoubtedly share some warm moments as they reconnect. Of course, everyone is wondering who Scotty will be paired with. The Young and the Restless fans know that this hunk won’t be wasted. Scotty should get a love interest (or two) as soon as possible.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is a logical choice since she’s currently single. She could certainly use a new man in her life. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) has moved on with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and there’s no point in pining any longer. Mariah may be ready to give her heart to someone else.
Here’s where things could get interesting. Y&R hasn’t given us any firm answers about Bella’s paternity. A DNA test seemingly proved Kevin wasn’t the “baby daddy.” Most of us assumed that just left Billy (Jason Thompson) since Chloe stole his sperm before leaving town. However, there could be more to the story.
Chloe has been adamant that she hooked up with a guy who’s no longer in the picture. Since Chloe lies as easily as she breathes, no one put much stock in her claims. What if Chloe is actually telling the truth? Could Chloe have had a brief fling with Scotty when their paths crossed somewhere?
If so, The Young and the Restless could really shake up this plot. Billy already has two little ones and another might be overkill. Plus, this could throw Mariah and Kevin for a loop. Let’s say Scotty falls for Mariah and they start building a relationship. If Chloe is also drawn to Scotty, the daughter revelation might bring them closer.
Scotty would be outraged by Chloe’s deception at first, but he would get over it sooner or later. Soap characters don’t have great memories when it comes to transgressions. Chloe and Scott could become a real couple down the road.
Mariah would feel rejected once Scotty ditched her for Chloe. Meanwhile, Kevin would face a broken heart as well. That could lead these old friends to rekindle their romance. Then, we could always see some partner swapping. There’s a lot of potential with this love quad.
