The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 14, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will deal with some major drama. First, Cane will meet up with Lily to discuss Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry). He’ll be upset about the way his son is shutting him out.
Lily will suggest that everyone needs some time to heal. When Cane notes that he’s been lonely, Lily will contend that a new job might help. Unfortunately, Cane will run into more trouble with his hunt for work. He’ll realize that his Brash and Sassy woes are going to follow him everywhere.
Later, Lily and Juliet (Laur Allen) will face off at the pool bar. Juliet will warn that she won’t be forced into hiding. She’ll hint that she’s not ashamed of her situation. Lily will also have a heated confrontation with Hilary (Mishael Morgan) on Monday. She’ll hold Hilary partially responsible for her family’s problems.
Lily will remind Hilary that she pushed Juliet into the lawsuit, but Hil will think she was just supporting a friend in need. They’ll trade insults about the issues in each other’s relationships. At Lily’s place, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) will stop by to hang out with Mattie. He’ll console her about her family’s drama and they’ll lean in for a kiss. Cane will enter in time to spot the lip lock.
At Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) penthouse, she’ll offer reassurance to Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). He’ll fear that Victor (Eric Braeden) is going to be too controlling at the photoshoot, but Chelsea will brush off the idea. When Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) name comes up, Chelsea will admit that things are going well. However, she’ll point out that she likes being an independent woman.
At the tack house, Nick will gripe about Victor’s cold heart. He’ll think Victor can’t handle it when someone calls him out on his cruelty. Victor will snap that Nick is ungrateful before they part ways. Back at Chelsea’s place, she’ll be stunned when Nick updates her Victor’s ruthlessness. He’ll propose moving in together, but Chelsea will seem unsure.
Across town, Scott (Daniel Hall) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) will take jabs at each other. Y&R spoilers say Jordan will observe the sparks flying during the photoshoot. He’ll mention it to Scott, who will immediately dismiss the notion. Scott will contend that Abby isn’t the kind of woman he falls for.
In Victor’s office, he’ll tell Abby about giving Nick the boot from the ranch. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will feel bad about what Nick’s going through. Victor won’t have any sympathy for the man he used to call his son. Instead, he’ll think this is good news for Abby. Victor will offer his daughter the key to the tack house and she’ll look taken aback.
