The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will seek her father’s help by asking him to bring Brash and Sassy back under Newman Enterprises’ corporate umbrella. Financial troubles, caused by the Professional Hockey League disaster deal will fuel Victoria’s return to her family’s company.
Yes, at the present time Vickie is on the outs with her father. But Victor (Eric Braeden) is always willing to forgive his children of their indiscretions. Such will be the case when his first-born seeks his bailout. Of course The Moustache will also make sure that the deal is in his favor and that Billy (Jason Thompson) is thrown out of the company.
The roller coaster ride of this once-Newman division began when Billy-boy took control. Then Jill (Jess Walton) took over. She used that situation as a vehicle to get Billy and Victoria back together. When Jill felt that was happening she decided to sell the company to the three people she’d hired to head it before leaving town with Colin (Tristan Rogers). But Vickie took her dad’s advice and bought Jill out entirely.
As those business issues were developing, Billy thought he was on the road to regaining a place in Vickie’s heart. Such was not apparently actually the case and eventually Miss Newman told her two-time two-timing ex-husband that she was never going to get back with him and he should stop trying to make it happen.
Billy bee-lined to Summer’s (Hunter King) condominium, where Phyllis was living since Jack (Peter Bergman) threw her out of the Abbott mansion. After a Bella (Cali May Kinder) paternity surprise yielded positive results for Kevin (Greg Rikaart), Billy committed fully to Phyllis.
With Philly being revived Victoria opted to play the long game. Doing so also enabled Brash and Sassy to become financially leveraged with a Professional Hockey League deal that went awry. Cane (Daniel Goddard) argued against it, to no success. That fueled his fire and caused a public mess.
Vickie chose to blame Billy, as always, for what happened. But the truth is that Vickie put her own company in peril. That’s why it will soon be time to run back to daddy. Abby (Melissa Ordway) has rightfully been suspicious of Vickie’s goals. She’s always suspected that her older sister would eventually return to the family fold. Abby knows that their dad loves them both, but that he favors Victoria when it comes to business matters.
Brash and Sassy’s acquisition will reestablish a path for Victoria to march toward Victor’s chair. Abby’s response and strategy will determine if Vickie is successfully able to walk over her and again become heir to the throne.
