The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, February 8, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will make another move to protect himself from Hilary (Mishael Morgan). He’ll send Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and hope that he can convince Hilary to sign a document. She’ll be asked to waive her right to take Devon to court in the future.
Y&R spoilers say Hilary will be offended by Devon’s pushiness. She’ll blast him for acting like she’s plotting something, but he’ll hint that history could repeat itself. Across town, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will be disgusted by Jack’s (Peter Bergman) decision to hire Gloria (Judith Chapman). Jack will urge Ashley to accept it because Gloria isn’t going anywhere.
Ashley will warn Ravi (Abhi Sinha) about Gloria and her destructive path. She’ll think it’s best if Ravi keeps his distance. Later, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will get updates on Gloria’s new job. After Lauren laughs at Jack’s misfortune, she’ll want the details.
Jack won’t be willing to reveal anything about their agreement. He’ll just insist that they should get going. Jack and Lauren will head to GC Buzz for an interview, but Phyllis will stay behind. She’ll approach Ashley and suggest that they could learn to get along. Phyllis will point out that she’s headed down a different road now and it doesn’t include Jack.
As Gloria watches the GC Buzz interview, she’ll be quite amused. Gloria will notice that Lauren is stealing the show. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will be visibly frustrated when Lauren won’t shut up. Ashley will waltz in to deliver a stern warning. She’ll snap that Gloria shouldn’t get too comfortable around Jabot. Ashley obviously doesn’t intend on letting her enemy stick around for long.
Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will explode once he learns Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wants to buy Brash and Sassy on her own. When Billy (Jason Thompson) supports his ex, Cane will accuse him of trying to get back in her bed. After Cane leaves in a huff, Victoria will ask Billy if Cane was right.
Billy will basically admit that he’s not opposed to the idea. He’ll suggest that they’ve shared many wonderful moments over the years. Elsewhere, Cane will tell Lily (Christel Khalil) that he intends on fighting Victoria by making his own pitch to Jill (Jess Walton). However, he’ll eventually get disappointing news over the phone.
Cane will find out that he doesn’t have enough cash to cover the full purchase. Lily will say she’s sorry things didn’t pan out, but Cane will refuse to let Victoria get away with this. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Cane is prepared for a fierce battle.
