The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 5, tease that Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will heat things up. They’ll hit the sheets to give their reunion a proper celebration. Hilary will seem like she’s enjoying their hot connection, but where does this leave Devon (Bryton James)? She may claim she’s over her ex, but she’s not fooling Y&R viewers.
Of course, Devon is equally hung up on his former flame. How long can these two actually stay apart? Perhaps Jordan’s bond with Lily (Christel Khalil) will be enough to turn Hilary against him. She likes to be the center of attention anyway, but the fact that Jordan cares about Lily could be a real problem. The closer Jordan and Lily get, the angrier Hilary will be.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily and Cane (Daniel Goddard) will continue to struggle. Juliet’s (Laur Allen) lawsuit caused some serious strain, but the trouble really hit when Cane’s lies were exposed. The pregnancy bomb put the conflict over the top. Lily just can’t believe her family is stuck in so much turmoil. She blames Cane for deceiving her, but she’s certainly not a fan of Juliet either.
That’s why Cane’s upcoming news will be a big shock. When Cane mentions that he’s going to see Juliet, Lily will hit the roof. She’ll wonder how Cane can even think about talking to Juliet right now. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) still needs to wrap up the lawsuit, so this may not be a good idea. Lily will try to convince Cane that he’s making a mistake, but he’ll insist on having one more chat with his accuser.
Meanwhile, Victoria will get ready to settle with Juliet. This is the last thing she wanted, but Cane has left her no choice. With Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Billy (Jason Thompson) by her side, Victoria will meet with Juliet and Leslie (Angell Conwell). She’ll prepare to hand over a check, but she’ll have a final demand for Juliet first.
What does Victoria have in mind? Y&R spoilers indicate that Victoria demands that Juliet to get a paternity test. Victoria isn’t withholding payment simply to make sure the non-disclosure agreement is squared away.
However, Cane still has some unfinished business with Juliet. He’ll definitely want to find out if this is his baby before they go any further.
