The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 23-27 tease that we’ll see some intense action. In the weekly promo, Dylan (Steve Burton) is surrounded by Fisk’s (Scott Speiser) thugs. They’ll point their guns and a struggle will ensue. Dylan is shot in the gut and blood pours from his wound – in his final week on Y&R Dylan will be in a desperate fight for his life.
Meanwhile, Paul (Doug Davidson) will try to make sense of the clues. He’ll do whatever it takes to find his son, but it won’t be an easy task. Christine (Laralee Bell) will realize that Dylan is running out of time. She’ll be forced to deliver some tough news to Sharon (Sharon Case) about the case.
The Young and the Restless preview video shows Sharon saying, “If Dylan is suffering, I would never be able to forgive myself.” Christine’s reaction will prompt an important question from Sharon. She’ll ask if Dylan is dead, but Christine will admit that she doesn’t know. It seems Sharon just have to wait for Paul’s updates. Meanwhile fans know that this is Dylan’s last week and it won’t be pretty.
Other Y&R spoilers reveal that Devon (Bryton James) will stew over Hilary (Mishael Morgan). He’ll rant about all the chances he’s given her. Devon feels like Hilary is out of opportunities to prove herself. He’s ready to be rid of Hilary for good.
Lily (Christel Khalil) will agree that walking away is in Devon’s best interest. She’ll fill Cane (Daniel Goddard) in on the situation and they’ll debate what Devon should do. The Young and the Restless promo shows Lily declaring, “She is toxic! He needs to get her out of his life as soon as possible.”
Cane will point out that Devon doesn’t have a prenup. A divorce could spell disaster for Devon’s bank account. Hilary could go after his money and never look back. However, it’s worth mentioning that Hilary will shift her attitude this week. She’ll approach Devon and inform him that she’s not going to put up a fight.
Hilary will suggest that she can’t justify all the horrible things she’s done. She’ll agree that Devon should move on if that’s what he really wants. Hilary will state that she loves Devon enough to let him go. Y&R spoilers hint that Devon will be taken aback by Hilary’s new perspective. She’d normally be scheming by now.
Will Hilary stay on the straight and narrow or will she resort to old tactics? Since The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will eventually have second thoughts, perhaps there’s hope for this couple. We’ll keep you posted as more details emerge.
