The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 3- July 7 tease that some fireworks are coming up on the CBS soap. First, we’ll see the real ones. Many Genoa City residents will enjoy a fireworks show at Devon’s (Bryton James) Independence Day party. He’ll hope his guests can take some time to chill, but tension will be an issue for a few of them.
After Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) reconnect, Devon will be on edge. He certainly won’t like watching them kiss and make up. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will notice Devon’s displeasure, but she’ll try to push her doubts aside.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) will also have a problem with Sharon (Sharon Case) and Scott’s (Daniel Hall) relationship. He’ll have trouble accepting their growing bond, but she’ll believe things will settle down eventually. Nick will soon turn his attention to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). They’ll manage to squeeze in some romantic moments during the big celebration.
As for Scott, he’ll end up having another confrontation with Abby (Melissa Ordway). These two can’t stand each other, but there seems to be some attraction under the surface. Hate could easily turn to love down the road. Stick with Y&R to see if any shifts are in the works.
Elsewhere, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will lash out at Juliet (Laur Allen) for the way everything played out. He’ll rant about his derailed life and demand a paternity test right away. Juliet has given Cane absolutely no reason to trust her.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez) will move forward with a dark plan. Once Kevin (Greg Rikaart) leaves to get Bella (Gia Poeme), Dr. Harris will share some stunning news with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). He’ll insist that Kevin is never coming back.
Chloe will panic as she asks what Dr. Harris did. He probably won’t offer any details, but he’ll make it clear that Kevin is no longer be in the picture. Dr. Harris will reveal that Chloe reminds him of his deceased daughter. Now that he has Chloe in his life, the doc never intends to let her go.
Meanwhile, Kevin will get a shock as he drives on the highway. Thanks to Dr. Harris’ tampering, Kevin will struggle to stay in control of the car. He’ll look concerned as crackling noises emerge from the hood.
