The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of June 19-23 tease that Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) secret will finally explode. He’s been dancing around the truth, but he won’t be able to avoid the consequences much longer. Cane’s marriage is about to face a crushing blow.
Before we get to the revelation and epic fallout, Lily (Christel Khalil) will continue to battle doubts. She wants to believe Cane’s side of the story, but something is telling her she shouldn’t. Meanwhile, Cane will do his best to keep what happened in Tokyo under wraps. He just wants all of this to go away, but Leslie (Angell Conwell) and Juliet (Laur Allen) have no intention of backing down.
Billy (Jason Thompson) will have some concerns about the threat to Brash and Sassy. He’ll tell Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that they don’t know what else Cane might be hiding. Billy will argue that they have no idea what the next bombshell is going to be. He might urge Victoria to settle before it’s too late.
Nevertheless, the case will move forward and a hearing will get underway. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Juliet will stand by her claims. She’ll contend that Cane offered her a job if she’d have sex with him. Cane will maintain that he was too drunk to perform, but Leslie’s upcoming shocker will suggest otherwise.
When Leslie whips out the security footage from the hotel, Cane will realize he’s in trouble. The video will show Juliet entering Cane’s room in the evening and leaving the next morning. Cane’s lies will be exposed and he’ll struggle to repair the damage. He didn’t sexually harass Juliet, but who’s going to believe him now? It’s doubtful that Cane will have anyone in his corner.
After Leslie plays the tape, Lily (Christel Khalil) will privately confront Cane. She’ll demand to know exactly what went down in that hotel room. Lily will be furious over Cane’s deception, but he’ll try to explain. Cane will likely come clean about his drunken hookup. He really has no choice at this point.
Y&R spoilers state that Cane’s mistakes will tear apart their relationship. Can Cane and Lily find a way to put it back together? Will Lily lean on Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) during this crisis?
