The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Victoria and Neil Reconnect – New Power Couple in Genoa City?

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Neil (Kristoff St. John) referenced their personal history on The Young and the Restless. Considering both parties single status and the business deal they just agreed to, The Young and the Restless spoilers (Y&R) say it seems possible that ‘Veil’ could become Genoa City’s next power couple.

Both characters have been floating in relationship space for awhile. Neil was wronged by Hilary (Mishael Morgan) eons ago, in soap time. Vickie’s most recent serious connection was Travis (Michael Roark), who seemed oddly written out in the same year (2016) as he was introduced.

Neil has gotten his life on track during the past few years. First by steering clear of Hilary, but also by joining Devon’s (Bryton James) new family business. Vickie isn’t on track. She often appears disheveled. Her frazzled demeanor is somewhat understandable, however.

Raising two very young children and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) is the most important and meaningful part of Victoria’s life. All balanced parents know that careers fuel functional family lives. No, it’s not the other way around, ever.

Choosing to have Billy (Jason Thompson) as her main business partner has created certain complications at Brash and Sassy. While Vickie’s current hopes don’t involve a ‘Villy’ reunion, viewers know that if he ever splits from Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that all revival calculations would be dramatically altered.

So the bridge loan that Neil offered to Victoria, without Devon’s approval, appears to set Y&R’s stage for a potential romance. ‘Veil’ has the potential to be likeable, as both characters are good-hearted.

Unless Drucilla (Victoria Rowell) shockingly returns, Neil has no one who would be put off by that choice. As for Victoria, that’s a different story. Billy seems to want Vickie to be eternally available, just in case ‘Philly’ fails. Victor (Eric Braeden) would surely weigh in, as he’s never really liked any of his daughter’s romantic choices.

But, as with all real life couples, as The Young and the Restless viewers can surely attest, what would matter most is if Vickie and Neil get along with each other. They could surely build off their friendship, explore romantic possibilities and slough off any Abbott, or Newman guff.
