‘This is Us’ Season 2 spoilers indicate that fans will finally get answers about Jack Pearson’s death. After disappointing fans by failing to address the mystery of Jack’s death during the Season 1 finale, actor Milo Ventimiglia says that the show will finally include the circumstances surrounding his death rather quickly.
According to Entertainment Online, Milo Ventimiglia says that fans don’t have to worry much longer: that’s because Jack’s death will come sooner rather than later.
Milo told the site, “I mean, look, for it not to happen, that would be a slap in the face. It blows me away that everybody is dying to know, but at the same time, I get it. It’s a curiosity. But what I tell people is the novel that is Jack’s life is much more interesting than the footnote of his death. Paying attention to how the man lived, especially now with dire times. His wife [Rebecca] and he [Jack] are not together at the end of the season, so you want to see them repaired and put back together.”
With that being said, there’s a good possibility that Jack might only appear in a dream sequence or flashback form for the remainder of the season or series for that matter. Right now, fans only know that Jack died sometime during Kate, Kevin and Randall Pearson’s teen years.
And while ‘This is Us’ Season 2 has not started filming just yet, Milo does say that he’s already looked at a few scripts. Milo didn’t offer any more hints or spoilers about the new season and instead said that anything can change between now and mid-July, when the cast and crew begin production again.
In the meantime, NBC has just released a new ‘This is Us’ Season 2 teaser trailer, although it does nothing more than recap the events from Season 1. It also shows just how emotionally-charged the show has been for fans. It’s no secret that audiences have cried during more than one occasion while watching the show, which also stars Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley and more.
