Justin Hartley is warning ‘This is Us’ fans to prepare for the worst. In fact, the actor says that this season’s finale is going to be an emotional rollercoaster for fans of the hit NBC drama. By now, everyone wants to know how Jack Pearson (played by Milo Ventimiglia) ends up dying on the show. So far fans know that it happens during Kevin, Kate and Randall’s teenage years.
But will it be an accident? Does his wife Rebecca play a role in the death? Will they end up having a huge fight? Even though there have been plenty of fan theories floating around, Justin says they are all wrong. He also says that viewers need to prepare for the worst as Jack’s death will be a scene that everyone is going to be talking about for a very long time.
When asked if he knows anything about Jack Pearson’s death or if Jack comes back in ghost form during later seasons, Justin Hartley told TMZ, “You’ll find out and let me tell you, it’s absolutely heartbreaking and devastating and it’s well worth the wait.”
Justin also said that the show is going to take a dark turn and that things between Jack and Rebecca are definitely going to get real. Some even believe that Jack Pearson might end up taking his own life, although fans will just have to wait and see.
Justin Hartley also added there’s plenty of room for new characters, meaning fans will probably see plenty of new faces during Season 2 of the show. The actor even said that the show is so emotionally that the cast usually ends up in tears after their scenes.
Then again, can anything be worse than William’s death? Randall took his father on a road trip to Memphis that he will never forget during the February 21 ‘This Is Us’ episode. During their trip, Randall finds William unconscious in his bed. William told Randall that he was always one of the most important people in his life. That’s when Randall said his last words to his father before William before he passed away. Randall ended up driving home in tears.
