In Seoul, Clementine (Gracie Dzienny) comes out of her tank 9 months pregnant, but becomes frightened when she calls for her dad, Mitch (Billy Burke) and Jamie (Kristen Connolly). She attempts to push open the door but blood begins to flow under it.

In Colorado, Dariela (Alyssa Diaz) is worried that transmission cut off and she is unable to reach Abe (Nonso Anozie) or anyone else on the plane. They have 90% of the transmission that Abe sent to the IADG, but they need some time to decipher it; but more and more nests are waking up and hatching. They figure out the codes are coordinates of where the beacons are but Dariela says even if they know where they are, they don’t know how to turn them off; he says to form a team and figure it out.

Clementine is able to prop open the door and finds Jackson (James Wolk), shot and lying on the ground. She realizes that Abe and Jackson have both been shot and looks for her dad, Jamie and her grandfather. Clem calls for an ambulance but when someone calls out, she grabs a knife, climbs down the stairs and sees Sam (Clayton Chitty) in the cage; she releases him saying she needs his help.

Dariela asks how much time they have and is revealed they have just over 31 hours before the world is over run with the hybrids. Logan (Josh Salatin) returns and says he heard the transmission was cut off and hasn’t heard from anyone but they are interrupted when they learn the wind is changing and the spores are moving and evacuation is in place; Dariela says its too late for them to get the plane in the air.

Clem drags Jamie on a sheet and she reveals Abigail (Athena Karkanis) is the one who did all of this; she is able to reach Dariela, who tells them not to open the door as the air outside is contaminated; she manages to stop Sam as an EMS worker explodes outside the door. She dissects the tank, explaining to Sam that the tank saved her and her father, that the solution will speed up their healing process, she says the solution needs to make it all the way to their lungs, which is to make them drown.

She starts with her dad, then Abe, Jamie, Max and Jackson. She tells them to take it slow, as the tank solution is healing them. Jackson is furious with Sam, telling Clem that Sam is working with Abigail. Mitch is angry with Abe for speeding up Clem’s pregnancy by using hybrid “Goo” into her; suggesting that might have warranted a little chat. Mitch is introduced to Sam who is the baby’s father.

Jamie confesses that she kept Mitch as Mr. Duncan so he could kill Abigail as no one else was going to do it. Mitch says he has heard enough, he wants to take Clem to a real doctor and tells Jamie he can’t even look at her then Clementine informs him they are under quarantine; Clem says they will be rescued in 5 hours but everyone quickly learns they only have enough air for 2 hours, maybe 3 and suddenly Clem’s water breaks and she sarcastically says, “That’s just perfect!”

Abe checks her over and she learns she is 2 cm; she says she didn’t have a chance to read any baby books but she has seen enough shows to know she has at least 2 commercial breaks before she is having this baby; she gets off the table and gets dressed; Mitch says they are not going to base her labor on a reality TV show. Abe says he is going to check on the hybrid samples but suddenly can’t breath, Mitch says they need to do this the old fashioned way as there is no more solution from the tank.

Sam tells Clem to stop and slow down, she throws the flashlight at him and demands to know what Jackson was talking about. He says he grew up with Abigail and his past was with the Shepherds, and Abigail was the only one he stayed in touch with and that is how he found out about the baby. She says Abigail is bad news, he is furious she didn’t tell him about the pregnancy and says what they had was real, and she left without a word; she feels she cannot trust him. He says he will be there for her and the baby and she says neither of them will be there for the baby if they don’t fix the plane.

Jackson and Jamie are down in the belly of the plane where the exhaust valve is; he turns a switch and she asks if he is going to wait down there until it turns red; he shoves her into the cell and gives her an air horn saying when it turns red she can let them know. He says he doesn’t trust her and nothing from the reunion suggests she has changed. Jamie says she knew it that this whole time Jackson has been trying to save Abigail.

Jackson returns asking what he can do to help, and they tell him to grab “Steve”, Jamie’s scorpion, they use it to sting Abe to cause paralysis. Max puts his card on Abe’s bullet wound and they use tape to cover the hole so he can breath. Clementine and Sam try a test in the vehicle hold. Max talks to Mitch saying everyone did their things for the right reasons, in their own way.

Mitch begins to keel over and Max wants to check him over too. Max sees the bullet wound is healing but is shocked by all his other scars. Mitch tells him this isn’t family therapy time, just glue him up and let it go. Max talks about when you hold a baby for the first time and how joyous it is and he won’t want to spend that moment alone. Mitch says it will take a lot more than just a baby to make all things right in the world.

Mitch goes to see Jamie, who says she messed up and it was horrible what she did. Mitch says he isn’t mad at her that her obsession almost got him and Clem killed. He screams that he isn’t mad at her, that he doesn’t care; that he is nothing to her any more and asks her if she knows what it was like for him in that tank for 10 years? He says the dreams in the tank were pretty good but now he knows they didn’t mean anything because in real life, if there is just one little bit of light, darkness swoops in but now its worse because she is now the darkness.

Dariela and Jackson are able to communicate; he says Abigail’s beacons have to have a power source so if there is no internet, they don’t have to destroy the beacons, they just have to cut the power. Dariela and Logan order their teams to attempt to cut the power but there is a sonic shield. Dariela tells them to look for a power supply and orders them to cut the cable now; when they do, they lose signal to the team and they lost all of Tokyo.

Tessa (Hilary Jardine) is at the refugee camp in Salt Lake City, Utah and Jackson tells her she couldn’t stop Abigail informing her that Abigail’s beacons are going off all over the world and they tried but lost Tokyo, all those people are gone. Tessa says she can come and help, he says they are in Korea and their rescue team just blew up in Tokyo. He asks her to find Abigail to end this; he hangs up before she can say anything else.

Mitch talks to Clem, who is having contractions; she says she is going to be a terrible mother because she is already failing him. Mitch says that right there says she will be a great mom because she is already feeling guilty and bad parents just drink and watch the news. She wants his word that the baby will come no matter what; he brings her to the lab because her contractions are 30 seconds apart.

Max says her contractions are too fast, they need to keep her calm and slow her heart rate down. Sam comes in and plays some music that calms her from the moment they met, she is able to calm down as he says she can do this. Max and Mitch figure out how to fix the plane, max leaves to do it as Mitch is left with Sam and Clem.

Tessa arrives at the IADG, revealing she used to work for them and tells them to get Jackson on the horn as she has an idea. Abe walks into the l ab, telling them not to move her; he checks her and thinks there could be a blood clot that can kill the baby and if they force delivery they could save the baby but it could burst as he is being born which will be extremely dangerous for Clementine. Mitch and Sam said to figure out another way and Clem says to do it, tells her dad to let her try to be a good mother.

Abe injects her, she screams and tells them now comes the hard part. Tessa calls Jackson that she is at the IADG so he doesn’t give up. She tells him to not look at the code as Jackson but to look at it as an OZ and he learned a lot from his dad too. He uses a memory to figure things out but says he doesn’t have a big enough processor to use it. He needs to get it to the IADG but they are running out of time.

Max comes down to Jamie, takes the air horn and created a filter, but if he exits the plane the spores should have stabilized outside and is willing to take the chance. He says Mitch will understand what he has to do in time and tells Jamie not to beat herself up as Mitch will forgive her too; he tells her she is good for his son and to take care of Mitch for him.

As Clementine begins to push, she looks at Mitch who encourages her that she can do it; and she delivers a healthy baby boy just as Max hears the baby’s cry, he smiles and opens the door to change the filter. Jamie smiles at the baby’s cries as Max’s lights turn red, meaning he has been exposed. Suddenly the fans begin in the plane and Max falls to the ground.

Mitch welcomes his grandson to the world, saying the world is a little messed up right now but it will get better now that he is there; Abe says the power is back on and Max did it. Abe hooks Clementine up to the ultrasound and they see the clot has passed and Mitch hands the baby to his mama. She holds him and asks Abe to test him to see if he can save the world.

Sam kisses her saying she was so brave, Jackson joins them and learns its a boy, he says he is perfect. Clementine wonders where her grandpa is. Mitch is concerned saying he should be back and goes to look for him. Mitch finds him and Max says it worked and Max pats his face saying who would have known they could finally work together. Max tells Mitch to tell the baby he said hello and Mitch says no, he will tell him himself.

The spores are down and Tessa tells Jackson its time to save the world. Mitch carries his father into the lab, places him in a chair; Mitch carries the baby over to Max and tells him to say hello to his great grandson. He smiles at Clementine and as the baby holds his finger, he dies; Mitch and Clem both devastated.

Mitch comes down to see Jamie, says Clem had the baby and he is beautiful, healthy and perfect and in a few hours he is going to save the whole world. Jamie asks if everyone is okay; he says Clem is fine and doing great. He tells her everyone is fine but doesn’t mention anything about Max, even after she says that Max was the one who got the power going. Mitch keeps saying the baby really is beautiful and he is sorry as the plane flies away from Korea.

THE END!
