Madonna’s current Sticky and Sweet tour is set to become the biggest selling tour by a solo artist. Madge will have raked in an estimated $ 282 million when the tour finishes in Sao Paulo, Brazil, later this month.

Tour producer Live Nation said the star’s 28-date US leg sold 550,000 tickets and grossed $91.5 Million.  Madonna had held the previous record with her Confessions tour in 2006, having taken $193.7 Million. Including her European run, Madonna has already made an estimated $207.5 Million in ticket sales.   Guess her divorce settlement with Guy is not going to hurt her finances very much!

A-Rod and Madonna were together - in the same city, anyway.  New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez was in the Mexican capital on the same weekend the pop star was performing there. It wasn’t immediately known if the All-Star third baseman and Madonna met while in Mexico City. When asked what he thought about being in the city at the same time as Madonna, Rodriguez said it was "very good," without elaborating.  hmm wonder if we can decode what "very good" means.  Your know what they say "Where there is smoke, there is fire"  ;-)

The Sun is reporting First Robert Downey Jr was knocked out by a 7ft wrestler. Then he and Jude Law who plays his sidekick Dr Watson — had to flee the set with Ritchie when a petrol tanker exploded in a fireball.   Robert, was knocked unconscious by co-star Robert Maillet during a fight scene. He was “out cold” for six seconds and “drooling blood” before medics could bring him round.

A nurse on set at Chatham dockyard in Kent gave him six stitches in his mouth.   A source said: “Robert was accidentally caught on the chin by a thundering hook. He went flying and was out cold. “He didn’t want to go to hospital and kept trying to get up. He’s a trooper. But there have been lots of other problems too.”

Yesterday’s drama came as the loaded tanker burst into flames during a delivery to the set — forcing it to close for two hours.  Rumors on the set are the movie may be "Cursed".  Know who would want to curse Guy Ritchie’s movie.   Hmmm let me think about that…. ;-)

Any resemblance to Courtney is purely coincidental - they were certainly heavy handed with the photoshop.  During the revealing interview in Elle, Courtney talks about family life, fashion and how she and Russell Brand are just good friends.  She also says she asks a doctor for stomach banding and they said NO - she expects us to believe her new skeletal look is "au naturel" lol…..
