Kevin Federline has demanded an emergency court hearing in his ongoing custody battle with troubled pop star Britney Spears over her failure to comply with another drug test.Sources say Kevin’s lawyer Mark Vincent plans to make a motion to restrict Spears’ driving rights after she violated some of the conditions of court-ordered drug tests. She was recently called for a test and but could not be reached within the hour, a source told American magazine Us Weekly.
However, Spears, who is not expected to appear at today’s hearing, has so far not tested positive on any drug test. LA family law attorney Joel Schwartz, who has been following the case, told People magazine: “If Spears hasn’t been following drug-testing procedures, ultimately the court could suspend all her visitation rights until she follows court orders.”
“Her mistakes will stack up against her.” Spears’ court-appointed parenting coach has been critical of her mothering skills, which resulted in her visitation rights with her sons.
Spears “rarely engaged with her children [Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1] in either conversation or play,” according to a report filed last month. Meanwhile, Spears’ judgement has again been called into question after she splashed out on two-seater sports model, despite the fact it’s not particularly child-friendly.
