Bee Gees to Reunite!

The Brothers Gibb (nicknamed) The Bee Gees’ were a singing trio of brothers — Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb.  The group was successful for most of its forty years of recording music, but the trio had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a harmonic "soft rock" act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as the foremost stars of the disco music era in the late 1970s.   Apparently now the surviving members Robin and Barry Gibb are set to reunite for a series of live shows, six years after the death of their bandmate and brother Maurice Gibb.   The brothers had said  they would no longer use the Bee Gees name after the tragic death of Maurice in 2003.

But Robin admits it will be difficult taking to the stage without his twin brother.  Last year, the pair hinted they would reform, telling reporters they would take the stage "when the time is right".   Robin Gibb recently said, "The two of us are getting back together again as we speak.."
