Yikes! Elvis’s Hair Trimmings Sell For $15,000

A batch of singer Elvis Presley’s hair, believed to have been clipped when he was inducted into the U.S. Army, was displayed during the preview of Presley memorabilia from the Gary Pepper collection at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago, Illinois.

The hair sold for $15,000.  All the items had belonged to the late Gary Pepper, who ran a fan club and was a friend. Pepper, who had cerebral palsy, died in 1980.
