In the wake of revealing the news that Giuliana Rancic was deciding to undergo a double mastectomy, the E! News correspondent and her husband, Bill Rancic wanted to express their deep thanks to all their fans.
Bill tweeted today, “Thank you for the outpouring of prayers for Giuliana!”
The couple has gone through so much over the last year and half. The two have struggled for quite some time with IVF treatments in trying to get pregnant, to then finding out Giuliana was diagnosed with breast cancer – one can only imagine the obstacles they have been faced with.
Giuliana underwent a double lumpectomy in October, and while she could have undergone the procedure again, she is opting for the more extensive surgical route of a double mastectomy.
“At the end, to be honest, all it came down to was just choosing to live, and not looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life”.
The two sat down on The Today Show earlier today and the strength and support they gave off from one another was inspiring and endearing. Let’s hope all goes well for the couple.
