Country Music Star Lisa Matassa met with CMA (Country Music Awards) President, Steven Moore, at this year’s CMA Membership Event held in Nashville, TN. This was Matassa’s first CMA Membership event she’s attended since making the jump from pop/rock to country music.
“The Country Music Awards are a vital part of the industry as they reward the best talents in country music for their outstanding talents and contributions to country music. It’s an honor to be a part of this membership event, to meet the President Steven Moore and hopefully someday I will be nominated for my work” says Matassa.
She also met with CMT (Country Music Television) executives of which she did an impromptu performance on the empty stage for them.
“CMT did for country music what MTV did for the rest of the music world. It was a pleasure meeting them, performing for them and having the opportunity to experience the thrill CMT offers” says Matassa
She will be on hand at this year’s Country Music Awards in November.
