Dawn Holland – who has now become Dawn Bradley – is going after Lindsay Lohan’s deep pockets as she attempts to capitalize on the injuries she suffered at the hands of the ‘Mean Girls’ star. The former Betty Ford Center employee was involved in a struggle with Lindsay Lohan last winter when she confronted Lindsay coming in to the center past curfew and allegedly drunk.
Dawn spoke to KABC-TV in Los Angeles about why she’s suing Lindsay for $1 million. She claims the star’s assault and battery left her with ongoing wrist problems.
“Lindsay Lohan is a human being, what her background is as being in the movies and all that stuff, still doesn’t take away the fact that she’s a human being and she has to be responsible for her actions,” Dawn told the station Monday.
Dawn recalled the December 12 incident in detail, claiming a belligerent Lohan twisted her left wrist in her struggle to wrestle away a phone Dawn had been holding.
“I could smell the alcohol on all of them and I couldn’t get Lindsay to cooperate,” Dawn said. “She was very, very angry.”
Dawn said she’s since been diagnosed with de Quervain’s syndrome, a inflammatory condition that impacts the tendon connected to her thumb.
Dawn’s lawyer, Owen McIntosh, said he’s reached out to Lohan’s camp, though has not served them with the suit just yet. He added he’s frustrated by the way his client’s been publicly portrayed since the incident.
“I don’t like the blogs that I’ve seen out there,” he said, “discussing how she’s just trying to make something out of nothing, trying to capitalize on Lindsay Lohan’s star power and take a bunch of money from her.”
“Does it have anything to do with money? No. I’m hoping to God that it’s a wake-up call for Lindsay,” Bradley said. “I want the best for her. I want her to get this.” “I want her to be clean and sober.”
Can you believe this rubbish – Dawn pretending that she is trying to help Lindsay by suing her??? The most important thing that ever happened to Dawn is that she got into a ‘fight’ with Lindsay Lohan – now the useless waste of space is trying to make a career out of the incident.
